Danny’s notes on the piece:

I’ve always called this piece “Schoolgirl Willie”. I do so because the Texas flag banner forms a bow directly above Willie in pigtail regalia. This is a product of Calico Press and longtime poster printer Benny Binford. There was a mix-up in the commissioning of this promotional piece, and Dale Wilkins produced another full-color version – which also included a portrait of a long-haired Willie in addition to my own; the first and only time I am aware of such a thing happening.
